But I'm not sure where the "Filing A False Report" comes from. Those boys were just doing a bit. They didn't call the cops, did they? It's not even clear that they were interviewed.
That's pretty crappy of the police to arrest those kids. And based on my experience with the (so-called) juvenile justice system, the kids are not entitled to bail, the juvenile detention center kept them at least overnight, if not for ten days. They will probably be suspended from school and sent to an alternative school, where they will get the privilege of hanging out with real juvenile delinquents.
Were you at the Tarrant County DA's office when the county commisioner's son stole Ben Hogan's trophies from Colonial? And then he stole a bulldozer and drove it into the Arlington Heights fieldhouse.
This crap is totally out of control. Holy hell, all the sh*t that my buddies and I did would have gotten us the death penalty now days. Is this all people have to worry about these days? GEEZ!
I wonder how much this little prank cost taxpayers. It sounds like a large number of people were activated to investigate the fake kidnapping. Bill'em!

And the parents have learned a hard lesson about ever responding to a police request to bring the kids by for a chat.
Uh-oh, I didn't commit a crime today! I hope no one reports me, I'd hate to get arrested for it!
