Wise County Murder Conviction Affirmed

It's not very exciting (unless you think confession law is exciting), but the Fort Worth Court of Appeals affirmed a conviction out of Wise County in its last set of rulings.

On December 21 2012 all rules will be off.

I agree with the Court of Appeals--Sarmiento just "might" have to serve those life sentences.

Enough with the December 21,2012 comments!

The Mayan calendar didn't include leap year so we are way over due anyways.

For those who knew Bettie Walker, her children and her grandchildren, this is no laughing matter. I'm thrilled that the conviction was upheld. Perhaps her children and grandchildren can move on with life.
Thank you for posting. We were guardians of one of the grandchildren following this shooting and came to know both of them well. Perhaps this will bring closure for the family.

RIP, Mrs. Walker. You were a very dear woman who worked hard to bring up your kids and grandkids right. Justice for your murder has taken too long, but finally your murderer is going away!

If you use physics and redo the calendar, using Keplers Second Law, you calculate the end of the universe to be May 12, 2012.....wait....that's the same day of the school board elections!
