Yesterday I mentioned in Random Thoughts that I had watched a documentary over the weekend called
Into The Abyss - a documentary that focused on two young guys accused of capital murder in Texas. One received the death penalty and the other received a life sentence. The guy who received life? He was named "Jason Burkett". (Obviously a different Jason Burkett, but still weird.)

I had this in my instant queue for a while and decided to watch it. Did some research afterwards. Kinna have some doubts now. Seems like the girl, Kristin Willis, (not mentioned in the documentary) should have been the one on death row. Think the cops and the DA might have been a tad corrupt too.
A comment on that link says that the man was found and is "fine"! Maybe no harm, no foul? Kinda funny, though. The cabbie might have dropped him off at the right address, but then Jason may have wandered away from there in a drunken stupor! I doubt the cabbie should be expected to "tuck him into bed", so to speak.
Nobody cares what you watched but thanks anyway.
Maybe the new mayor will invite Obama to town for a tour of southern hospitality!
