There is nothing wrong with these trucks......but......there should be a 45 mph truck speed limit on wise county highways... a fine of three hundred dollars for every mph a truck is clocked over the limit....and an instant one thousand dollar fine for tailgating. Car drivers who have their windshield cracked by rock trucks should have to have it personally replaced by the driver and the truck owner should be liable for a separate $639 punitive damage fine.

It's apparent you don't like trucks. Why don't you stop using anything that has been delivered on a truck? That would stop the demand for them and get them off your precious "car road". Stand up for what you believe in.

How many have I seen in just 2 days on a cell phones weaving in traffic when the law was changed banning them from CDL drivers. How many have I seen in less than a week going way over the limit. And we all know alot of you carry two sets of books. They should inact a law put computer monitors to track your hours and shut you down when your time is up,because we all know most of you go way over risking the lives of many innocent people. You change lanes after one second of a turn signal giving the cars you nearly run over no notice. Yes you are bigger but that does not give you the right to drive like an idiot! I report every one of you every chance I get when your driving stupid! Not to mention how the hell do half of you pass a DOT physical? Most of you are over weight, smoke, eat crap at truck stops and most likely are a heart attack waiting to happen behind the wheel. I see many of these trucks on the road that if we had enough DPS there would be half of them pulled from the road. For those that do follow the rules I applaud you for the rest of you.....your day will come....I know we need truck drivers but we need responsible ones, you DO NOT OWN THE ROADS!!!

If you take into account that the average truck driver earns over $50,000 a year, and that most of them deliver millions of $$$ in goods for major companies, the amount of taxes spent each year by those drivers, and their respective companies is far greater than what you paid in taxes.

Just that there are many out there that could use a few driving lessons, go the speed limit and follow the laws which many do not. Man, I been around these parts for 46 years and never seen the truckers drive too fast. They are always driving too slow when I approach them. It's the regular trucks and cars that need to learn the speed limits.
As far as rocks hitting the windshield, there's a reason why the rule is to stay 200 plus feet behind the truck.
