Why is this what you feel necessary to put in your public diary?

Do you ever wonder why your family members distance themselves from you?

I pulled up, and there was one doa and 2 helicopters but it was a bad one. Where can I send a pic.

The byline of this blog (under "from the land of dairy queen") is "a look at the news from the humble confines of Wise County"

I do believe that a horrnedous wreck qualifies as news.

I have never heard this blog referred to as a pulic diary, maybe your are on the wrong blog.

Pray for those involved

6:41----

I prayed for them NOT to be involved, some time last week.

It didn't work.

While we are looking at traffic deaths I would like to give a warning about the red light recently installed on US 280 near the Wise County sheriff's office. The timing on the yellow does not meet the minimum TXDOT requirements for yellow duration for the posted speed limit. Red light intersections with short yellow duration create revenue and deaths. Instead of timing below TXDOT standards, time should be added to the yellow at this location.

The TXDOT engineer assigned to Wise County apparently has not read this report:

ftp://ftp.dot.state.tx.us/pub/txdot-info/rti/psr/0-4196-s.pdf

Other studies indicate the positive effects, including reduced deaths, by adding only one second to the standard yellow light timing. Heavy large truck traffic is a reason that increased timing of yellow is recommended. I think that heavy truck traffic on US 280 carrying rock from Wise County mining operations fit this description.

So when someone dies at this location you will know the reason.
It does not have to happen.

9:23, Please don't diigrace Wise Co. by letting everyone know where you're from. I've seen better grammar and spelling from most first grade classrooms. It scares me to know that people like you are allowed to vote and that there may be enough of you to actually re-elect Obammy. GOD HELP US ALL

But it wasn't in Wise County...

And if you are going to pretend to be a bad speller, to get a ride out of people, then don't spell a word like obviously correct. it kind of ruins the punch

WOW 9:23... Quick to throw accusations at someone for not wearing a seatbelt when you don't know what actually happened .... Get a life... These people are and were family/friends of ours and don't deserve the lash out... Please say a prayer for all involved as this is A VERY HARD TIME for them! Don't be so quick to judge as you never know the situation you could be in... We have one judge and we will all meet him one day! As I've already said PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PRAY FOR THEM!

9;12, sorry editor, that would be US Highway 380. That is the highway running from Denton through Decatur and Bridgeport. I am new to Wise County.

Would you check my grammer and spelling befor it turns this in to my teacher.

I would, but you are a newcomer and deserve to fail.
