I heard the presentation was purchasing laptops would not cost taxpayers anything! Just a bunch of federal stimulus dollars. What the heck is that? Money that came for taxes, money that could be used for teachers, money that could be used for afro turf, or money that could be used to lower our taxes.

iPads are not computers. They are fluff stuff. A program to actually provide real computers is needed - laptops running windows.
