(And I'm putting the number of comments at four before a certain subject is brought up.) Edit: Katy with the win in Comment #6. You people need to step it up!

Nuke 'em!
Obama got is into this mess, it's you liberals who are to blame!
What gets me is this--someone burns a Bible, and the entire Western world, including devout Christians, would just shrug their collective shoulders and say "meh". Those people are nuts.
4:14, Someone should have told him to do what Obammy said to do and just get a tune up and keep his tires inflated at the right pressure on his old car.
In light of Tocqueville's warning (and I'm not going to guess how many of you intellectual giants recognize that name!) that democracy requires well-educated and well-informed citizens in order to function, it's outright terrifying that you people vote!
What else should I be? All apologies What else could I say? Everyone is gay What else could I write? I don't have the right What else should I be? All apologies
the intellectual giants (and a majority of the average intelligence six footers) know that the topic is tossed out as dangling liberal bait. Perhaps the over-educated fail to recognize that most of the comments don't even seriously address the topic. It's mostly just trading barbs. Thinking that everyone on here votes is a dangerous assumption. But go ahead and vote for us all by proxy since you're so g-dang big brained; we'll be sitting at home drinking beer and watching NASCAR
Alexis de Tocqueville also believed that black people couldn't be assimilated. Did he get that right, too? Plus, he was French, so...
(JK about the voting thing - NASCAR doesn't normally run races on Tuesday!)
Abu Ghraib was on the front page of the New York Times for months, and was Bush's albatross for the rest of his presidency. The media laid the whole affair right at his door. Shouldn't Obama likewise "own" this incident, along with the so-called "Nazi flag" photos?
WK - Obama is the Commander-in-Chief and therefore ultimately responsible for actions of his military. When they perform well (bin Laden killing) he gets some of the credit. When they do stupid things, he has to take some of the blame. His apology to the Afghans for an act that the US government does not endorse is appropriate. We as a country do not approve of desecrating anyone's religious items. We also shouldn't endorse the radical, lawless elements in Afghanistan or anywhere else.
Remember, we went into Afghanistan to get at al Qaida and the regime that harbored the 9/11 terrorists. Maybe it's finally time to turn the place back to the Afghans - while keeping an eye on any international terrorist re-development.
941 - If Obama is "responsible," then why are there no screaming headlines holding him responsible? Obama is still milking the bin Laden raid, so where are the media stories linking him to the other incidents?
just a observation: why is it a third world country such as Afghanistan has such a large part of the population that has time to protest and cause mayhem in the streets? Do any of these people have jobs?
Whoa there. The military who burned those Korans are the ones who have increased the danger to our troops. It may have been inadvertent but it sure increased the exposure of the soldiers and civilians there. Actions have consequences.

Subject: Alegebra?
Why does the comment window look different?
The secret word of the day is: "Apology."
I think another apology might be in order here. The first one didn't take. Go bama
Why can't we just bomb them the way we did the Germans and Japanese.
The world loves us now that Obammy is President. Oh, and he lowered the sea levels too. He's got my vote.
Since gas is almost at 4 dollars a gallon, Chevy Volt sales have increased 100 per cent. A guy in California bought one today.

Because we're all out of serviceable B-17's and B-29's, dipshit.
Rage
Rage, Can't we use that new plan we just developed, the B-52?

With soldiers like this, no wonder we can't defeat the muslims.

How about a B-24 Liberator built in Fort Worth, Texas?
I'm going to burn a copy of the Messenger to see what happens.
I'm guessing...not much.
Rage
3 words.
Tom Cruise missiles.
That's worse than Romney dissing NASCAR fans in the audience that had on the plastic rain jackets.
Rock lobster.
Double Fake B-52s

Unwritten and unreported, that's where.
Katy is right- those dirty Muslims SHOULD offer us an apology.
Alexis de Tocqueville was a friend of mine and you 12:22 are no Alexis de Tocqueville.

Speaking of getting out of there, I would suggest those same people get out of the US!
How would it feel to be in a military who is more concerned with offending Muslims that protecting its soldiers?
Sheesh
Bush got us into this, sorry Cracker..
