I think the difference is that LiLo never killed anybody, although she has effectively killed her acting career. Probably the worst thing she's guilty of is causing the train wreck that's become her life
I would throw out a line about the ability to write scripts, but it's LA...much too easy
I don't understand why people are up in arms. He used a potentially lethal drug for an off label use in a non-hospital setting and a death resulted. He deserves to be punished. Do I think he did it with malicious intent? No. That does not excuse his actions. 4 years for an accidental death doesn't seem harsh.
