I think he was just being himself, which proves Texans do not need to be president of the US. He is a true good ole boy of Texas. Got their heart in the right place, but not their brain.
The guy had back surgery earlier this year, didn't he?
A lot of his behavior - debates and speeches - seems to indicate pain killers. Or perhaps he's just never spoken before people before, but that doesn't seem possible.

Just like we can't compare Obama's misspeaks with GW's - all of the presidents and hopefuls need to stand on their own two feet and not fall on the "well he did this..." This isn't 3rd grade.

Three possibilities: Perry is gay. Perry was on cocaine. Or both.
