Little Bit Of Idiocracy Creeping In?
Hey, I don't like seeing little boys hit in the face with a foul ball. I like little boys. [Ticket fans: If you didn't immediately think "mark", I'm ashamed of you.] But I suppose an Internet video of a kid getting knocked loony by a pro baseball player isn't unusual in this day and time. However, this is an ABC News video. I might be able to let that slide but they do a replay of the kid getting hit three times. That's Internet-like production sneaking into network TV.
(As a side note, those Kennedy Assassination Conspiracy Guys might have a field day with the way that kid's head snaps forward after being hit in the front. I hope Mrs. LL doesn't see it.)

Skippy, Just for shits and grins, you and your law partner(if that's what ya'll really are) try an experiment. You sit in a chair and have him punch you in the face as hard as he can and see if your head doesn't spring forward after he hits you.

How do you make that leap? Obviously the person doing the shooting is responsible, not the gun. No one said otherwise (except you). If you can't see what is wrong with the "Fast and Furious" plan by the Justice department, then there is no hope for you ever being a responsible person in our society, regardless of your opinion.

First thing is that the ATF director did not get a promotion, he got a demotion.
As for being responsible, I can understand that but being ahead of any policing force, you are going to make a call that puts people in harms way. If we fired and caned/hung every military / police leader that had someone die due to a bad decision then we would have no leaders left.
Also, Melson was the Director of the Executive Office under Bush. So he has been around those offices for awhile.
