I have no idea of the people involved or where "Hells Gate Loop" is at PK Lake, but this photo taken this afternoon is insane.

Hell's Gate is on the east side of PK. Hell's Gate is a popular cove where everyone anchors off for partying. Sad to see. Lots of high dollar homes there.
I remember when there was nothing atop hells gate. Boats parked down below and the brave, or really drunk ones, would climb to the top and jump into the water below.
It's so sad - those homes are so beautiful. So sad to think of all that is lost, especially the life of the firefighter.

The double crazy part of the story is that one volunteer firefighter has died while fighting the fire. However, his death, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner, was due to blunt force trauma caused when he was hit by a truck and not from smoke inhalation or burns as previously stated by Justice of the Peace James King. Source
It is inside sportsmans world. Inside the cove of Hells gate. Mylie Cyrus has a house there, the one with the Texas flag on the roof. Troy Aikman was one of the first to have a house in there. About 300 yards from Tony Romo's lake house. Mylie's house and Troys old house is on the same side as where the fire was in the picture.

Gawd Almighty, this is bad.

Why would you want to hang around a place called "Hell's Gate" anyway?
On December 21 2012 everywhere will look like Hells Gate.
Hells Gate Loop is right around the corner from Hells Gate Drive, and short jaunt from Hells Gate Circle.

It's in the edition where people pay more for property taxes than most people make in a year. Average property taxes between 20-40K.
