Wait in line for hours to get there, park, get in, get a drink, see animals; all the while shoulder to shoulder with throngs of poorly behaved kids...to save a couple dollars per person. It's a fabulous zoo if you are a person that likes zoos...well worth paying an extra 4, 5, or 6 dollars to enjoy at leisure and still have most of your day left when you're done.
I've taken my kids twice in the last 6 months, both times on half price day during beautiful weather and it was never very crowded. however, you wouldn't have caught me dead there yesterday for the sole reason that it was spring break. try it next Wednesday, i promise it'll be better :)

Spring Break. Gotta entertain the kiddies.
Never go to the zoo on discount day. Most of the real animals are not in the cages that day. Scary.
My Other Brother Darryl
I'd just as soon slam little Elvis in a car door as go to the zoo @ spring break!
if you want to see monkeys just stay on Victory
