Winning a four team division with a (current) 56% winning percentage is an accomplishment -- I guess. But I don't think you'd catch a Yankee fan wearing a "division" winner T-shirt.

Maybe not cuz they haven't clinched their division yet! LMAO!
I don't understand why there is one division in baseball with 6 teams, one with 4, and all the rest have 5. Seems to simple to move one team from the 6-team division to the 4-team division so that each team has to overcome the same number of teams to win a division.
Moving that one team would require sending the Brewers (or some other team) back to the AL from the NL and create an odd number of teams (15) in each league, which would mean two teams with byes during non-interleague play. Can't get in a 162-game schedule with that many byes without extending the season by many weeks. If MLB would add two teams, each league could have four divisions of four teams, with only the 4 winners making the playoffs. Not likely until the economy improves.

Been a long time, why not enjoy it a little.
You would probably see them wearing them if they thought it was the only one they will get to wear.

Its a pennant win. Something that you celebrate a bunch in baseball.
