Obama was indeed interviewed on Fox. Bret Baier did an admirable job. Here's an excerpt:

We are still discovering hidden tidbits in the Democrat healthcare legislation. There are likely more surprises to come. If the rest of the media had been as professional as Baier, maybe there would be fewer surprises from our Democrat Congress.

But I actually have a personal example. The Democrat healthcare legislation cuts flexible spending account maximums from $5000 to $2500. (FSAs let you pay medical expenses with untaxed dollars.) The legislation also cuts what we can do with our money. The restrictions are prompting our family to utilize our FSA in a different way than we had originally planned.

I have a friend in Florida who is an ER nurse, her and her coworkers are having their hours cut dramatically and she is now worried about the quality of care the ER patients are getting in the hospital where she works. There's more to come, you can bet the farm on that, if it's still around after Obama gets through.

Under the new bill, I have to send them to anyone I pay more than $600 for any reason. That means, after obtaining their taxpayer I.D Number, I will send the City of Bridgeport a 1099 for utilities, the tax appraisal district for taxes, etc. What do you think that will cost? I will file those 1099's at considerable expense and will process the ones I receive at considrable expense. Now mulitply that expense by all companies currently in business and it will be staggering. Who will pay for this in the end? If you guessed the consumer, you win a cigar. I will pass these costs on to the end user, as will every other company subject to the filing. How do you think the IRS will handle all of these additional forms? If you don't recognize this reform as the mess it is, you are blind. No one will argue the need for health care reform but this is assinine.
