I'll Admit . . .

. . . President Obama blew it the other night with his oil-in-the-gulf speech. When the nation sees a bunch of oil soaked birds, we don't want to hear about "going green."

It doesn't appear that Crist found any oil but decided that he wanted to do some slightly onshore drilling!

Well. At least you have finally admitted it. Now just figure out how to recover.

3:36 PM would that be directional drilling ?

Horizontal drilling???

No tar balls in sight.

Nice beach outfit Charlie.

The point behind it was probably that if we weren't so relied on oil then this might not have happened, supposing that the lack of reliance on oil would have caused less need to drill for it.

Here's the federal government's efficiency at work: The Coast Guard shut down sixteen barges that were sucking up thousands of gallons of oil off the coast of Louisiana (at Governor Bobby Jindal's direction) to make sure that they had the right number of life vests.

The best speech in history couldn't overcome government bureaucracy.

You are so right wordkyle, but you won't get the best speech in history from this one that knows no history.

The Daily Show did the best job of summing up Obama's Oval Office speech. If you watch the entire clip you'll be rewarded by getting to see Gretchen Carlson, outed as a two-faced, yapping terrier.

This guy is the biggest buffoon. I literally wake up every morning thinking I have had a nightmare. Then I realize that Obama really is the POTUS.

Thanks for admitting your president has a short-coming! This prez doesn't have a CLUE what to do. Finally carved out 20 minutes from his busy schedule to meet FINALLY with the BP CEO. Sheesh.................
