Are you saying that he is wrong to think that an illegal alien is in favor of free health care? They have it now. Try to go to the emergency room after 9:00 at night. Might change your mind. Seems the people that that cry in support of this bill are the ones on the receiving end of it, not the financing end of it.

It appears that 4:58 just doesn't get it. Of course the people on the receiving end are in support of it. Idiot. Why wouldn't an uninsured out-of-work American citizen in need of a $100,000 heart bypass surgery not be in favor of this? A system that would bankrupt someone for years because of his health condition while living in the most prosperous country in history does not seem like the most desirable option at the time of his need.

BTW, what would Jesus Christ do? Someone tell me that. Someone quote the scripture that says we, as a people, should not have affordable health care.

I actually know a guy named Jesus Martinez. He goes by Javier because he doesn't want to deal with being named Jesus.

Double Fake John F. Kennedy

4:58 They are there now and we are paying. What is the difference?

So, are you saying he's crazy because he doesn't believe that Jesus of Nazareth would approve a bill that funds abortion, that had to be passed through the corrupt methods so widely used to bribe members of congress to vote for it, enslaves the future of our country with more debt, and will steal more money through more taxes from companies and individuals to help fund it and with all that, still not all Americans will be covered.

I agree with him.

You hit the nail on the head. Approximately 32% of all tax returns filed, have ZERO tax liability.

The bottom 50% of wage earners, people making less than $32,879 per year, paid only 2.89% of ALL Personal Income Tax paid to the IRS.

You can bet your last dime that people who will NEVER be required to pay for entitlements will ALWAYS demand entitlements.

You're right I remember right there in the bible where Jesus set up this massive bureaucracy, got the romans to run it and then raised taxes on the rich to buy votes from the poor. Then he bribed a bunch of his diciples because they weren't on board right away. I think James got a new chariott dealership in Tyre.

I think he clarified his comments later. Beck said that if you mean Jesus would be in favor of the government redistributing wealth to dispense health care as they see fit, no he wouldn't. But that the Jesus he knows might favor some reform of the health care system that would reduce costs and make it more affordable.

I always get concerned when someone tells me what Jesus would door say unless they have the right theological training. So I won't be accepting a determination of Jesus' views from Glenn Beck or Liberally Lean (indirectly by offering this post) Or any of those television "healers" either.

Maybe I'm crazy too -- he didn't sound nuts on the sound bite. You know, it's easy to call names when you don't agree with the perspective. But then again, that is a common tactic.

I have liked Beck over the past years, but lately he has seemed to become a raving maniac. Problem is, I think he's just the first sane American to be driven totally crazy by Obama gov't. It's sad to say that probably more and more very sane, intelligent Americans who can actually SEE the big picture of Obamacare will follow suit shortly. More and more dribbling lips and glassy eyes as we become the land of the Ombies. ooops.... did I forget the Z?

Our poor country. It was nice while it lasted.

I'm with you all the way Barry. except that I have known for way too long that Glenn Beck is crazy. He knows though that stirring S&&t is making him millions and until those Neanderthals quit watching him and parroting his every phrase we are stuck with his lame A&&. Hell, he almost makes me think that Bill O Liely is fair and balanced...Nawwww.
Oh, and 4:58, it costs more to go to the ER than it would to provide health care to illegals if indeed they were brave enough to try to get by the Hospital system, which is a nightmare because of the insurance companies and the fact that only one hospital per county is designated a "County Hospital". You haters and Teabaggers are so out of touch with the American people as a whole that you are buying all the crap that the far right shoves down your throat. You need to pay better attention because there is nothing in the bill that Obama will sign tomorrow that gives federal funding to elective abortion. That lie won't fly. It has been all over the news today if any of you haters were watching.
This whole thing reminds me of the 60s so much it is really making me wonder why the America I knew disappeared and the one that replaced it is ignorant and selfish to boot.

Oh...now WE are the haters?? LOL!! You two-faced, lazy, handout-eating hyppocrit!

Man, you lefties are nasty know-it-alls. One fifth of the economy under government control?

All those currently paying high priced insurance at work or individually should DUMP IT. You too can have guaranteed care now. You don't have to keep paying premiums that cover you, your family, and a couple other families that you pay for indirectly. It's all taken care of now. Let's ALL be on the receiving side. The last person paying for us all will have an annual medical insurance premium of a trillion dollars.

Barry Green and his lib followers don't care about the future of the United States of America. They would rather vote for a socialist who was mentored by a communist named Frank Marshall Davis so that they could feel good about voting for a black guy. They could prove they are above racism. It's a shame because doing so will bankrupt us beyond anything we could do to pull out of it. We are already bankrupt. Our T bills offer higher interest rates than corporate bonds. I know you idiot libs don't realize the significance of that. You are hurting our children and grandchildren. I piss on all you leftists.

Those poor rich people. You know, the top 400 ones that only paid 16.62% in 2007.

Boo hoo.

They made their money in a country that protects them. They wouldn't be able to do that in any other country. If they can't contribute, then get out.

I personally think Glenn Beck is one of the sanest people around. Liberal progressives naturally don't like him because he is onto their scheme to take the US down. Remember, Obama said we were only 5days away from fundamentally changing the USA just days before the election.

Thanks a lot you lib voters. I kinda liked the country we used to have.

Wow.....Glenn is right.....he nailed that one.

Illegals have new trucks and cell phones but can't make a $2.00 co-pay for medicaid treatment! Wonder why our health care costs and premiums aren't affordable? Because all of us who have jobs with employer based health care are making up the difference to keep our doctors' in business. Yes, the medicaid reimbursement is much lower than private pay.

Glenn Beck is a good kind of crazy because he gets it and that is why he is over the top sometimes!

Do you know people who make payments on a boat or a second car but can't afford health care insurance? Then when they get sick, they have a problem and now we have to feel sorry for them. Do they get treatment? Yes, because they can get a payment plan. A lot of the uninsured are people who can afford to pay who think someway they won't get sick.

Jesus taught responsiblity and told us to take care, through our church, the children and the widows who were not able to take care of themselves. Everyone else was to work. He told farmers to leave grain in the field for the widows to gather. He didn't give them food stamps to buy cokes and chips.

Equality is about our humanity, not about worldly goods.

To the poster who said the rich can pay or leave, the rich according to Obama (income over $200,000) are our children who work many, many hours a week after spending years and $$$$ on an education to become a professional. Why do they owe it to those who won't work anything? That is what will destroy our country. When the profit motive is gone to own your own business or be a professional, their will be no rich to provide jobs or pay for a welfare, nanny state.

Beck is an opportunistic ENTERTAINER making millions by whipping up public discord and discontent about politics. He is no better or crazier than Limbaugh but does have the same frenzied followers.

Let's see how many people support this healthcare bill in 10 years when taxes are so high people that once enjoyed a comfortable middle class life cannot even get by. When our taxes are over 65% and we have no disposible income because we are paying for others bad decisions. To me it is better a few become bankrupt to get an expensive surgery they can't afford than it is for a nation to be bankrupt and once proud workers, self employed doers and go getters have to rely on food stamps and welfare.

I would rather die than ever, ever, ever take a handout--we will see an abundance of homegrown terror at that point. Once you reduce good, honest hard working people down to nothing only to benefit the lazy, indigent low end of the gene pool scum things are going to get ugly.

Anonymous said...

Some of you seem to chastise or condemn anyone who currently doesn't have a health policy - legal or illegal. I know many hard working citizens who DO NOT get employer provided healthcare. If they ever need help - it's off to the emergency room - for us to pay for. And those between jobs - well they must just be hoping the find a job with health care because they were toast till then.

Mzchief, are you comparing Beck to Limbaugh or Mr. Liberally Lean??? Same puppet, same monkeys, less money. Oh, and Beck actually makes sense.

I made it quite clear in my comment that I was comparing Beck to Limbaugh.

As for your hypothesis that "Beck actually makes sense."; I have been to NYC and encountered several, psychologically unbalanced, street people whose rants were peppered with interesting facts. However, like Beck's, many of their conclusions were nothing more than highly speculative delusions.

Yes! I have listened to Beck and can only do so until he goes street-rat crazy and then I change the channel to Ina Garten on Food Network.
