Well, she's not very dumb, look where she is and where you are...she is absolutely one of the most talented and kind entertainers to come around in a long time...and dumb she is NOT!
I saw her special and I thought it was good and wholesome...something we don't see anymore in this day and time...if people aren't rapping or guys kissing guys or girls kissing girls, no one likes it...I say bring on more shows like Carrie's!!!
I work with a guy who is from the same place in OK and he said she was always a big snot and there wasn't much excitement about her winning Ido or her success because she stepped on a bunch of toes in OK.

I watched the show(Mrs. DF had scene control and the remote) and it was kinda goofy, but Carrie is far from dumb.

She did a stupid skit with her mom and a long bit about her dog...that's when I decided I'd had enough and could find better things to waste my time on. Had she been SINGING CHRISTMAS SONGS, I might have found it worthwhile.

I'm not a negative person. I just found her show stupid. I don't find a long skit about a dog or her mother entertaining. Her singing is fine, if you like country, which I don't. If I want to watch something wholesome, I prefer Modern Family or The Middle, not a blonde chick and her goofy "talking" dog.

She can sing, but I wouldn't call it Country Music nor is most of the pop pablum that they're playing on most so called mainstream Country stations these days. Around here, if you want to hear some real country music, you have to listen to 95.9 The Ranch or 95.3 The Range.
