I went to a Cottondale Volunteer fire dept fundraiser one time and I was looking forward to spending some time in a nice country town and donating some money. As I ate and enjoyed the fellowship I noticed a Volunteer fireman who had an ear ring. I laughed audibly and thought "that young guy probably gets made fun of by the other firmen who are probably tough, hard working country folk".
And then I saw another guy with an ear ring....and then another. I looked around and realized I may be the only male with out an ear ring. Then the thought crossed my mind that maybe I had received some false information and I was actually at the outside version of the Rainbow Lounge.
I proceded to grab my family and checkbook and headed out the door. It might be a while before I head back to the ol' county of Wise.
They need to check the lawn care worker and make sure his "throat had not been slit", "he did not OD on epileptic medicine" or "have his cancer medicine stole"....
