Ain't That America, For You And Me

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid just announced that he plans to push ahead with a public option vote (although it allows States to opt out.) And A football player with Dallas gets $40 million guaranteed. And Girls Gone Wild should stay away from parts of Florida based upon these mugshots.

F$@% the state opt-out option. I don't want the inbred Wise County hicks deciding I can't have the RIGHT of public health care.

Is there anything remotely resembling a definitive Democrat healthcare plan? Apparently Reid has several plans, some of which include a public option (and some of those with a "trigger" in case private insurance fails.) "In a hastily called Oval Office meeting Thursday, Reid presented his idea for a state “opt-out” to a skeptical Obama, who didn’t balk at the idea but questioned whether Reid could truly round up enough votes, according to two sources familiar with the Oval Office meeting."

Are Demcorats making spaghetti? Throwing healthcare legislation against the wall to see what sticks? Or maybe they're making legislative succotash, out of fear of offending the special interest groups. Does the Democrat desperation to pass any kind of healthcare legislation bode well for a quality plan?

3:14 The public option is to allow individuals and small business the ability to band together to get a better rate. The same "right" people who recieve their insurance through work receive. It is this kind of ignorance that makes it hard to pass healthcare reform. Find out what the terms mean before bashing the ideas.

426 - If I made your mind up with my post, then you are indeed weakminded. If you'll notice, half of my previous post was made up of questions. So Obama supporters don't ask questions? (Never mind, that's redundant.) When it comes to Democrat healthcare legislation, inquiring minds (by definition excluding Obama suppporters) want to know.

401 - The public option is a plan in which the federal government would go into competition with private insurance. Without having to make a profit -- shortfalls would be paid by taxpayers -- or deal with other costs imposed on private insurers, the fed's rates would likely be lower than private insurers, eventually driving them out of business. The government, which controls and regulates the insurance industry, would become the biggest player (if not the only player) in the game. The so-called "public option" is predatory. It is designed to replace private health insurance, thereby reducing all of our options to just one.

There is no "right" to universal health care. It's desirable that everyone have access to health care, and the vast majority of Americans do. But a right does not impose an obligation on another person.

Why do we need healthcare at all when we have God? Isn't everything going to happen according to God's will anyway?

3:14 No one knows what is really in the bill since it hasn't been written. People do not know what publc option means since it has been called so many different things. When thinking about a public option, think about Medicare/Medicaid. The public option will be government run health care with all the fraud that costs over 10%. It will be a magnet for every crook in the country since the government does not monitor for fraud.

Doctors and hospitals will suffer from government run health care with lower reimbursements and more paper work. No one will want to go into the medical profession and deal with big goverment and decreased income.

Only 35% of the American people support a complete over haul of our health care system by over reaching left wing Democrats who represent only 20% of the voters.

The trillion dollar plan will only increase our costs of premiums and increase costs of health care.

Already one of our doctors has left his practice to teach. Many will follow or be forced to work for large hospitals who will be forced to have union employees as payback for electing Obama.

Follow this bill closely but it will move quickly without time to oppose it.
