Random Cheers and Jeers

I love Cheers and Jeers in the Star-Telegram. Today's random samplings: You would have to pay me to share a table with a stranger at Denny's. I'm not sure I've ever seen a cat on a leash nor a cat being a problem for a lawn. I was with you for a little bit there, baby. Mrs. Ex-Green #8? Nancy. Nancy. Nancy.

That last post by Nancy is so stupid. you could say that any time someone gets traded in the league. Nancy probably does not realize that Buffalo is in the AFC and play the Cowboys once every 4 years.

If you are the only one in the area that has a flower bed you would know what she means;olso open vehicles like jeeps , 4 wheelers, lawn funiture with cushions ect.Cats are like dogs and some children;they need confined to their own area.If you have one missing in the middle school area I may have seen it. Cats that is. DAGO

Watching the cowboys is a lot like watching (AS THE WORLD TURNS).See who gets over a thousand yards this year.It will not be Whitten or Williams.Williams will probably be traded this year for saying that TO will be missed.Football is not a soap;it's yardage. DAGO

Cats roaming are a problem. If I were to go over to a neighbor's and dig up flowers, knock over decorative figures, break stuff and defecate in and around the house, I'd be even. Or, if I were to go over to a neighbor's, wait in some bushes by their front door until the lady of the house comes out with her dog on a leash, then bolt so that her dog unexpectedly jolts her so that she falls and busts her lip and sprains her wrist, then we'd be even. That cat, by the way, accidentally found itself in a trap that was placed well inside my property, inside a totally cedar-fenced yard. A humane trap, the kind with the door that slams shut on one end. It had no collar, so I guess it was a stray. Went to the pound. Just following the law on that. It is stunning when people think their cats roaming around aren't a nuisance. Not quite as overt as people that let their dogs out to poo anywhere but their own yard or people that don't pick up their piles of crap that are dumped in others' yards. I have, on multiple occassions when witnessing that, picked up the poo that the owner I guess wanted me and my kids to step in, followed the dog owner and tossed it on them instead. It works every time, and they don't have shit to say, so to speak. If it's a kid, I just talk to em, tell them they need to tell their parents it's not nice to put dog poo on other people's children's feet.

I live on Overland and I have cats pooping in my yard too.
I might just pull a Mr Rumsfield....."Walter. I know you're in there. That scum-sucking, barking rat of yours has just taken his last dump on my lawn. I find one more- just one- and I'm gonna catch him and staple his ass shut."

Name that movie.

I love the Cheers and Jeers too!

Cayenne pepper is a good cat repellant.

10:32 Who needs repellent? You are a perfect example. Who would want to be around you or your yard?

Ditto on the 'Cheers and Jeers.' Fascinating to see what others cheer & jeer...like the rest of us. =)

And R&R's right -- sprinkle that cayenne pepper and spray a little vinegar...they hate it.

On a side note, the whole door-to-door thing always amazes me when it comes to the heavy cat-urine air around some front doorways. I don't get it. It's rather stifling too...

Exlax in a can of tuna is a great cat repellant. They eat it, then go back to the owners house and spread cat crap everywhere! Works better than a New Holland manure spreader from McMaster!
