Congrats Barry! Free throws are so key. Syracuse beat UConn on Thursday night in 6 overtimes, and they hit 20 of 23 free throws. Baylor outplayed Texas and deserved to win. I graduated from Texas, and as hard as it is to swallow, I am not surprised. Baylor is a good team. I hope you win the whole darn thing!
Any smart person would have bet the Evil Empire would lose this game. They can beat any good team when they need to but will always lose to the not so talented team.
1) There's always drama with the b-port cheerleader's. 2) There's always drama with the b-port softball coach. 2)There's always drama with the b-port's defensive coaches.
1) They all have unreasonable moms. 2) No one remember's her name....and those that do are glad she went back north. 3)They are working with sub-average talent.
It all gets old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Two things.....first, my initial post about the guy on the center right looked like he was crapping his pants was rejected.......secondly, this post is about Baylor vs Texas..........not about Bridgeport and whatever ails their small town quarrels..............
Yeah...so WHAT HAPPENED at BHS cheerleader tryouts? Why do you bait us? How are we supposed to know what happened unless someone PUTS IT ON THE BLOG! Not.. "you should have heard what happened!"
DANG ...that irritates me! TELL US on here......or Shut Up!
Going back to the probability of win #25 in a row...previous results do not affect an independent event. You might also remember the USA Olympic hockey team's win over the unbeatable USSR team. Well, the USA won that game. Even the US coach said if they played 10 times the USSR might wing 9. But in one game - anything can happen.
12:44, in sports, previous events can ABSOLUTELY impact the next independent event between those same competitors. Sometimes they don't, that's all. Laws of probability don't apply because there is a lack of randomness, not because what happened last time Texas played Baylor doesn't matter at all.
Bridgeport cheerleader tryouts was a joke!! Kind of out funny that cheerleader sponsors daughter (which will be a freshman next year) happens to make Varsity! Half of the JV girls are better than she is!! There really wasn't any need for these girls to tryout, she knew ahead of time who was going to make which squad!
Ok ok.. So everyone keeps saying all the drama about the Bridgeport Cheer Tryouts.. The Cheer Tryouts were rigged.. EVERYONE knows its true!!!! Last year the "sponser" was AGAINST Freshman making varsity with ALL her heart. Now that her daughter is a freshman the rule suddenly changed. Which obviously is crap. She jipped some very talented girls out of a varsity spot and some have even quit and they just found out who made it. To the girls who quit I lift my hand up to you. Takes real courage to give up what you love because of your "sponser" suddenly changing her mind to only be concerned about her daughter. I even have understood that some girls who made varsity couldn't even make a jv team at a smaller school which also has to tell you something there.
This cheer drama is not retarded. It means alot to the girls and it should be taken seriously for them. Support the kids. Don't put them down. They are the future and they plan really whats ahead. It may be JUST cheerleading but cheerleading can give you the ability to not be scared to be in front of a large crowd, to have leadership ability, and the follower ability. So you go girls!:) high school student

Look at that dumbass wearing an OU hat......you know how I can tell he's a dumbass......because he's wearing an OU hat.
God's team rose from the dead and defeated the Evil Empire on the third day of the conference tournament. I predicted this.

Congratulations to the Bears for a well-played game and well-deserved win.

Cheerleader "tryouts" drama is a GIVEN for any school!! It's the worst! I am for outlawing cheerleaders, PERIOD!
Put all the comments about probability on "moot."
Anyone at BHS that didn't see this coming is STUPID! She has been laying the foundation for it for 2 years!!
Well my daughter made it, but what happened today was WRONG! I for one have lost all faith in the leadership of this group of girls.
I thought I heard a big Barry tear of joy and pride roll off your cheek and hit the ground. Congrats!

Why would anyone think cheerleader drama at B'port is newsworthy?
The fact that some of you do, is part of the problem.
yawn.

9:02,
So, your daughter didn't make it, huh?
Was it because she's not very pretty?
What an idiot! Even people without daughters trying out can see the facts. So Decatur isn't the only place that names count.
