We've lived in six different towns over the course of the last 30 years, and every time we moved, I found the local public library as soon as I could. I recall when Decatur's library was in that tiny building that later became the police station.
I admire the citizens of Newark for wanting to have a functioning library.

I find it scary that fear has overtaken reason in our nation and has been promoted as a political weapon.I find it scary that someone could actually make a straight-faced claim that this President has stated or even implied that he is the Messiah. I am scared and disturbed that anyone could concoct such a point of view or make such far reaching allegations.I am scared that such passionate, illogical, visceral hate is generated by the mere possibilty that this man ran for elected office and won. I feel scared, ashamed and proundly sad that these kind of belief's even exist in my lifetime.

You didn't say anything about how you wanted higher taxes, weaker defense, open borders, bigger government, more entitlement programs, and more dependence on oil from people that wish us harm. But if you think that will help America succeed, then enjoy the Kool Aid.
