My husband worked for Fluor for several years, and I'll be danged if I still can't pronounce their name..."floor", "flower", "flour", huh?
Do you ever read Hal Turner's blog and wonder what if those hard-core loonie white boys are right?
It's easy to pronounce Fluor. It's FLEW HER or even more precisely FLEW 'ER, but said quickly.
Someone please explain the Jurassic Park thing.
"near Bridgeport" is for anybody reading the Dallas Business Journal and all points outside Wise Co. that want to find it on a map.
If you drive through the area and see it, you might understand the Jurassic Park thing. Their facility is huge, and looks as if they could be manufacturing T-Rexes in there. Drove past it last week and the steam rising made it look like a giant mushroom cloud had formed over it
I always think of "The Langoliers" when I drive from Chico to 59, then on to Jacksboro - it's pretty creepy out that way, and sometimes I see strange animals standing by the tall fences as I drive past Sawblade Ranch, or whatever they call that place. Pretty and pretty creepy all at the same time.
On December 21 2012 there will be much Flew'er people here than there are now.
Where exactly will the new plant be? Anybody know?
