Downtown Bridgeport

OK, I might be wrong about that. But Day #3 of the Running of the Bulls is complete with no deaths to report. But the bulls promise to rally tomorrow. I kind of hope this guy gets it.

Edit: Here's some older pics where the bulls win.

"likt". Am I missing something? "Alvoid" I can understand, I've said it, seen it, and dealt with it all my life, way beyond even when jarwhatever chimed in, but "likt"? Please Jebus, have some one clue me in.

I hadn;t watched broadcast televison in years until recently. It was HDTV.
I used to think Scott Sams was a handsome devil. Did he have an accident to justify the cosmetic surgery on his face? He looks kind of weird.
Dana Carvey was scary! I tried to watch him do some stand-up. It was so disconcerting I changed channels. He looks like a deformed wax figure of himself.

What you're missing is that people misspell words all the time and don't proofread themselves.

Misspelled words make baby Jebus cry.

This is a true story:

When I was in high school in Boyd in the mid-90s, our Spanish teacher, who was a bit nutsy and will remain nameless here, was lecturing about different cities in the US that have large Hispanic populations. She was talking about a certain city having the largest hispanic population in the US....I can't remember what city...it's irrelevant anyways. She went on to ask, "does anyone know what US City is #2 on the list for most Hispanic citizens?" Without missing a beat from the back of the classroom, someone said very loudly, "Bridgeport!"

We laughed for days at that one.

Anyways, I swear that is a true story.

If some people pronounce Alvord as "Alvoyd", do they pronounce Boyd as "Bord"? Just wondering. (I was born and raised in this county, and I do NOT say "Alvoyd", so not ALL of us "inbreds" are simple-minded!)
