Is it just me, or does everybody hate the way that Steve McCauly on channel 8 over-animates everything? Especially when he starts talking about the "cap"
I don't know, I like Steve's explanations for things that everyone usually wonders about. The "cap" is one thing. I can't count the number of years people would walk around here on real cloudy, humid, and muggy days, all the while wondering out loud "why it won't rain". He's the FIRST one I remember explaining that when that happens, its because of the "cap" over us, and I'm 52 years old! Why did it take so long for a meteorologist to tell us this! I know HE can get pretty "animated" at times, but at least he EXPLAINS what is happening. (He even explains why meteorologists are often wrong when it comes to predicting certain weather events--thereby acknowledging their fallibility--something a lot of them don't like to talk about!)
