Horrible

Occurred on the Houston Street Viaduct - a roadway I jog over every Thanksgiving morning for the Turkey Trot.

Riding motorbikes is dangerous! Nobody seems to get it. Feel sorry he is lost.

This is a very unfortunate......Makes me think of several officers that have been killed on motorcycles....more specifically Wes Hardy.

It is a shame that an officer was killed while escorting a Clinton around for some political crap. If Clinton does not honor the family of this officer, she is indeed a selfish b#$ch

10:53, Riding motorbikes does not have to be dangerous, it's just that too many bike riders operate in such as way as to make it so. Yes, when on a motorbike you are generally going to be smaller than just about anything else on the highway that might impact you in an accident...and you've got less protection. But frankly a great many average cars are in the same circumstance compared to what's rambling wrecklessly on our highways. And, a motorbike can be nimble enough and narrow enough to actually avoid accidents to a greater extent than a car could.

Why was he travelling at a high rate of speed anyway?

Vince Foster could not be reached for comment.

Yikes!
How long do you think it will be before the Obama camp declares that Hillary Clinton is responsible for the death of a Dallas motorcycle officer?

"We are just heartsick at this loss of life in the line of duty," a subdued Clinton said in a statement to reporters after the rally, the Associated Press reported.

Clinton said she planned to contact the officer’s family as well as the police chief.

"It is important that we respect and appreciate their service," she said. "I certainly am grateful for all they do for me."

Clinton later cut short her appearance in downtown Fort Worth because of the officer's death. She spoke to the Fort Worth crowd for a few minutes."

She's not finished yet, 10:57AM. The above quotes were in the article Barry linked to, you dolt. I'm glad I'm not you.

10:57 - you obviously do not KNOW that Mrs. Clinton cancelled the rally that had been planned saying that it would be inappropriate.

Now make something out of that!

Get your facts straight before you post.

10:57 is your typical stupid, ignorant right-winger. He can only make cheap jabs at Clinton instead of giving us some legitimate arguments.

Horrible? No, horrible would be a muslim maniac with a nuke setting it off in Jerusalem, Or an earthquake magnitude 8.3 in the heart of LA killing hundreds of thousands, even a tsunami wiping out a significant portion of an island nation. One dead cop who failed to pay attention at the wrong time doesn't qualify as horrible, just one of those little things that happen occasionally.

Stirring the shiate in the pot/kettle, as usual, aren't you, MzCreep?

Anonymous said...

Would you have said the same thing, had the now-dead motorcycle cop been killed while escorting a Huckabee or McCain motorcade, 10:57AM?

I can only hope that this Officer's family can find peace and comfort in this horrible time of tragedy. May God bless them.

Let us not forget that your current First Lady, Laura Bush, killed someone while driving recklessly. She wasn't even being escorted by a motorcade.

my thoughts and prayers go out to my fellow rider who went down today and they go to the family. he was doing a job that he was assigned to do and should be honored for that.

2:01...FUCK YOU! You lack the perspective to make that kind of comment! I have been to mass casualty scenes, as well as ones of this nature. They are equally "Horrible" depending on your "perspective". Save your comments for something you understand like...cartoons. DUMB ASS!

There is no telling how fast they were going. A cop friend told me years ago (Clinton era?) He clocked a presidential motorcade at 90 mph.

The police officer lived on Clinton Drive.

Damn, 10:26---------------------
I hope you were drunk (10:26 AM?) because if not, you are borderline retarded. Neither lends credibility to your comment.

Judging from the time of your comment, I'm gonna guess you to have been inebriated at the time, you should do some serious soul-searching before you pin that badge on again if that is the case. And if not, the fact that you are allowed to carry a gun is not near as scary as the fact that you are required to do so, given your propensity to explode irrrationally in the face of a simple opinion voiced by a thinking citizen. You, sir, have anger management issues. It's worth considering whether you have in fact become part of the problem rather than the solution.
