What a great job of the firemen to save the house in the last picture.

Now is the time for this county to come together and help these families that have lost so much. Someone tell us what we can do to help.

I agree - what can we do?

Any word on what started these fires?

From what I heard it wasn't the firemen who saved that house. The owners and a couple of friends spent the entire afternoon keeping the house wet.

Wow, I thought trailers just attracted tornadoes.

I always get choked up at the last few words of our national anthem, "the land of the free and the home of the brave." It takes a brave person to fight fires. Bless you fire fighters for your courage and bravery on behave of our community! I

to anononymous at 8:17am - Try a little compassion. Some idiot throws out a cigarette on the highway and it just HAPPENS to be in an area where people live in manufactured homes. But it is still there HOME!

I know a lot of people that have lived in trailer houses because of the obvious lack of affordable housing in this area. Most of them move on when they can. The thing is they have pictures of family, precious gifts, pets and all the things that we all have to get along in this world. What kind of person would minimize their suffering because they may not have as much as you think you have? Grow up, or at least shut up!

What a way to start your day, you go outside to use the outhouse and the damn thing has burned down...and you had a brand new Sears catalog in it too.

Why are you telling me to have some compassion? I am just saying what the Paradise City Council will not. You know they have a problem with those "eyesores" and are glad there was a disco inferno.

Then I will say to you that the citizens need to elect decent human beings to their city council. If they believe as you are inferring, they need to be removed from office. Some of the homes that were burned to the ground were not "scummy" trash trailers, some were of that caliber. But none-the-less, there are children along with their parents that no longer have a home. My heart goes out to them. And I pray that if my family is ever devestated by a fire burning down our MANUFACTURED home, we have the compassion of our family, neighbors and city council. I pray that you are never put in the situation where someone needs to help you.

From my post yesterday - don't throw your cigarette butts........

It just blows my mind how "non-thinking"/dumb some people can be. Use a little common sense.

Some of the posters here need to show a little heart for people who have lost their homes etc regardless of the type of home it is. Next time it could be you. My parents raised 5 kids in a 2 bedroom/ one bath house that my dad and uncle built. It wasn't a McMansion but it was still my home.
