You have to understand...most of these "coaches" have clauses written into their contracts that say if they make the "playoffs" they get even more money than they already do. That's also why you WILL NOT see a Supt. showing all the add-ons when they do coaches contracts and salaries. Supt. are ex-coaches looking out for those who are members of the "brotherhood".
I agree - it's just stupid to reward this level of ineptness. Those coaches’ contracts should dock their salary for missing the playoffs - not increases for making them.
I'm reminded of the old joke--Hockey teams play all season to see which ONE of them is not in the playoffs. How stupid. It just makes the season go on and on--meanwhile parents will go nuts trying to deal with all the additional activity conflicts.
