Still Amazing

It's four day old news, but the story of the mom who had her six year old make up a story of her dad being killed in Iraq in order to win Hannah Montana tickets is amazing. The best coverage I saw was when Byron Harris confronted the mom in the store - the "deer in headlights" look doesn't do it justice. (It's here if you can get it to work.)

But the story is all over the place this morning - on a national scale. It was onThe Today Show and Good Morning America

I...don't...need

I... don't...need this.

Priceless.

Sorry, honey. Mommy's a big fat liar and now you don't get to see Hannah Montana!

BWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHA!

She's sorry alright, but at this moment there are hundreds of thousands of people driving around the Metroplex without auto insurance, there will be hundreds driving drunk this weekend, millions cheating on their taxes, cheating on their spouses, etc., etc., etc. We don't seem to care much about all that, so why should one lying mom be national news? If some job applicant gets a job at some local company because he or she lied about a degree or work experience and it goes unchecked, do we care? No.

12:52 -
Is your glass half-empty?
Mine's half full.
Cheer up..........
or pour yourself a nice FULL glass of your favorite drink to greet the New Year. Splurge on yourself; you sound like you need it.

So, you are the only person on earth that is sin-free, huh, 12:52PM? You must be pretty lonely. Like 2:01PM said, you need to lighten up or you might have a stroke pretty soon. Best wishes to you and yours in the coming New Year.

I guessed she was hispanic when I first heard about this story. The rules apply differently in this country and I swear they'll do things here and think it's ok that they would never do in their home country.

I would have killed her dad for Van Halen tickets.

Cheat, Deceit, and Lie. Must be Republican?

It seems as though noone has thought of the REAL children that have lost their Daddy while he REALLY was fighting for the Freedom of our Country. OH yea the same freedom that lets little miss Hannah Montana sing in public and allow whiny, bratty little she devils to pay for tickets to these concerts. What is wrong with people. Karma is sure right!

Use the war dead and lie about it to make a point? Reminds me of John Kerry.

She sure fits the mold...Sleazy, Democrat criminals!

G. W. Bush won tickets to a war with his essay/story. With help from Condo-sleazy and the rest of his administration.
