Brian Burns is one of the best Texas singer-songwriters working today. His CD, Eagle and the Snake, is great and he performs at schools all over the state doing an assembly program on Texas History which includes many songs about the birth of our republic and state.

Just watched this, and noticed at about the 3 minute mark, they show the Hard 8 BBQ joint in Stephenville. That place is owned and operated by Phillip Nivens. He was in middle school with me and your big Bro in Bport way back in 69-70 timeframe.
He's one of our buddy Jones's many cousins. Mary Lou was a Nivens.
