Edit: Something seems wrong. In the current election we had 8,917 vote early and 3,624 vote on election day? I bet those numbers are reversed.

Our population has amost doubled since 1988, but are voting almost the same numbers as we did with half the people now living as registered voters in the county. We go from 66% who vote in 1988 to 33% in 2006. There must be a message here of some kind, but I am not sure what.
ok well that is great and all, but where on the chart can i see the ethnicity of the voters?? you *did* say that this chart was made by wise county republicans, right?

Looksw like whoever prepared it has a bit of dyslexia. I thought Republicans were god's chosen children and didn't suffer such afflictions?
One of the old Court House insiders tells me that the Republican Court House is a little more liberal with its spending than the old "County Road Commissioners" who ran as Democrats back in the 60s - 90s.
Pardon my ignorance, but what was going on in Wise County in November of 1992 when 76% of the registered voters VOTED?? I lived here then and I don't remember the issue.
Hilarious!!!! Approximately 21,000 or so in Wise County chose not to vote. Just goes to show people are getting sick of politics with the stupid childish behavior of republicans and democrats. People have become turned off and don't care anymore. The non-voters have spoken. Toooo funny.

That's why we are in the mess we are in. NOBODY REMEMBERS!!!!In 1992, the economy was AWFULLL!!!!; Daddy Bush was running for a second term, and some wise guy former Arkansas AG was trying to unseat him, a guy named CLINTON!!! and as they say, the rest is history. And four years from now, when our public dollars are used to educate children in private schools, some one will say," How did this happen?"
