Let it be noted that within minutes of his comments, Rush said: " All I'm saying is I've never seen him the way he appears in this commercial for Claire McCaskill. So I will bigly, hugely admit that I was wrong, and I will apologize to Michael J. Fox, if I am wrong in characterizing his behavior on this commercial as an act, especially since people are telling me they have seen him this way on other interviews and in other television appearances.
Having listened to the incident when it aired, I will state unequivocally that Rush never "mocked" Michael J. Fox, regardless of the sensational headlines in the liberal-leaning press. I flinched when he said Fox might be acting, but he quickly and gracefully corrected himself.
Fox did admit in his book that he did not take his medication before testifying before congress so that the symptoms of his disease would be more prevalant.
This was a big discussion on Gallagher this morning as well. Let me say that in the world where people choose to make UNEDUCATED choices then they will be impacted in a great way by emotional exploits. Politicians, marketers, and lawyers work in the same basic mode...... if the truth is not on your side then you perform magic by way of emotional exploits to take juror's or voter's eye off of what truly matters.
How many cars do you think sell in our nation because they have some beautiful girl with a huge rack standing next to it.
It is this overt use of deception that makes people distrustful of politicians and abhor lawyers. I am one of them, by the way.

As far as I am concerned there is NEVER a way someone can "gracefully" correct themselves when they READILY malign a person's character, especially when they do so for the ENTERTAINMENT of others in an attempt to score ratings.

It is all about cloning. Fox should have known this before he let them set him up for criticism. Embryonic stem cell research in Missouri is already legal. Do your homework and don't be taken in by people that don't know what they are talking about.

Medication will for AWHILE control the SYMPTOMS of Parkinson's and Diabetes however, meds will NOT cure these diseases and they are KILLER diseases. If for NO other reason than people DIE due to the SYMPTOMS of these diseases there needs to be a CURE and a means of PREVENTION for these diseases. Just because there are meds that CONTROL the SYMPTOMS of a disease does NOT mean the meds lessen the long-term effects of the disease on the patient's body.
Following YOUR line of thinking there is NO reason to prevent or find a cure for cancer since there are medications and treatments that will CURE cancer.
Regardless of your politics ANY decent person KNOWS that what Rush did was WRONG. As much as it disgusts me to admit, Rush just proved the point of that OTHER pompous windbag, Al Frankin.

Mzchief, I am not against finding a cure. You didn't comprehend my post. He intentionally did not take his meds to make a point. I am going to say this one more time for all the idiots that don't get it. Embryonic stem cell research is legal in Missouri. The dems are pulling a bait and switch. The referendum is about CLONING not stem cell research. Scientists who are doing work in this field say that embryonic stem cell research shows no promise but adult stem cell research is where all the promise is. I'm sorry that MJF is sick, but I am not sorry he is an idiot to be used by liberals.
When Rush announced he was deaf, I sure heard alot of liberals laughing about it. A very compassionate bunch they are.
