As exciting as the game was, I was enthralled by this event.
Before this pic is taken, I see the black guy and his girlfriend being confronted by two Baylor cops (not Waco cops, but certified nonetheless) in the stadium. I'm not sure, but I think they may have caught him with alcohol. To complicate matters, they are in the very small Kansas crowd. This was not a good match-up: Black guy with attitude vs. young Baylor cop with his own attitude.
At some point (still inside the stadium), the cop yells "Ok, you are getting a criminal trespass warning. You must leave the stadium now."
I'm interested now.
The black guy does what he was told. He leaves the stadium. I was surprised to see that the two Baylor cops continue to follow him
outside the stadium.
The black guy does something that is pretty funny. He's leaving, but he's walking incredibly slowly. He stops, pauses, and then start with baby steps again. This really, really frustrates the white, young Baylor cop.
It is so obvious what is happening. The black kid feels like he's being screwed over the the White Man in a Lilly White stadium (yeah, he kinda is) and the White Cop feels like his authority is not being respected (which it kinda isn't).
Finally, the black kid stops again and the cop tells him he's under arrest. Then I start taking pictures.
The kid is pretty funny because he yells out "Help! I'm being arrested for looking for my car! Help."
You know who I feel sorry for: The prosecutor and the defense attorney. This thing will be filed as a Class B misdemeanor as Criminal Trespass (DWI and Marijuna Possession are Class Bs!!!). The prosecutor will read a case report about how the "suspect refused to leave the premise as instructed." The defense lawyer will hear the story of "The cop told me to leave the stadium and I did! They arrested me in the parking lot while I was looking for my car!"
I loves me some justice system.

Yeah, I bet you do because you are getting paid for this stupid crap.
AND, everyone wonders just why there's no respect for the law-- be it the officers(good and bad), the total judicial system. Caused by the bleeding heart liberals who impose "your rights" on the rest of us. Then sit back and cry, "my client did not get a fair trial". Better yet, then yell discrimination...all for exorbitant fees.
What should the cop have done? Please tell us in all your liberal wisdom. If was told to leave and he didn't, FINE arrest his butt. In fact, if he is being a butthead, give him a solid Tazering, too. Liberal winebags just make me want to puke. What a bunch of soft pansies.
What a waste of time and tax money. They should have left it alone. He was leaving. Maybe not the way they would have liked him to but go find someone doing drugs or trying to forcibly make someone a christian.
Being a Smart Ass isn't against the law. Being a bad cop abusing power isn't against the law. The Ones who suffer for Inflated Egos, Taxpayers !
I think the real reason he was harassed is because he had a white girlfriend. Those Waco boys don't take too kindly to people stealing their white women.
10:43PM, the police have abused their power far too long. This isn't something that one day the general public woke up and thought "Fuck the police!" It is an animosity that has been building for decades because of them soiling their reputating every single day.
You seem to forget that the taxpayers pay their salary.
Have you missed the stories of the Wise County Sheriff vehicles failing to stop and render aid?
Or the ridiculous story in the Sunday WCM about the poor rock haulers being pelted with soda cans. Boo hoo. Welcome to daily driving in Wise County. I am pelted with rocks all day yet there is no story in the paper with quotes from the sheriff's department.
In fact, they couldn't care less when a large rock from a hauler penetrated my wife's windshield and landed square in the seat next to her. Maybe if I contribute a little more I could get a sob story printed in the paper about it.
Respect is earned, not automatically given. Perhaps they should put the high horse attitude away and they'd get a little more cooperation.

Next time do not arrest him. take him into the locker room and see how many volts of a tazer he can take I bet he leaves next time. We have gotten so soft in todays time.

I cannot believe that anyone would defend this idiot or give him any credit. He violated the rules and was asked to leave. He was a smartass, didn't leave, and got arrested. What is the problem? So does this mean, you left-wing wussies, that it would be ok if you told someone to leave your front yard and they didn't, you would just sit back and say ok, no problem. I don't see what race has to do with any of this. The rule doesn't state that black people can't bring alcohol into the stadium. No one is allowed to bring alcohol into the stadium. People that throw the race card every time things don't go their way are the biggest racists of all. Screw 'em.

I've seen lots of alcohol drinking/carrying white people escorted out in the same way, and they also do little things to aggravate the officers, and get the same exact treatment as this guy. This is not a racist deal whatsoever. Can't draw conclusions like that from a sample set of one incident.
I am glad to see so many people agree with me with the definition of "racist"--that those who ""pull the race card" are racists. That means that the vast majority of racists nowadays are minorities. White people nowadays (with the exception of crazy skin-heads) just don't care anymore.

Yep! It all started when he started dating the white chick . You might not know it but she is actually the cops little sister.
