This Has To Be A Baylor First

From the Morning News: TCU's football season opener at Baylor, originally scheduled for Sept. 2, has been moved to Sept. 3 to accommodate national television on Fox Sports Net. Kickoff will be at 4:30 p.m. CDT at Floyd Casey Stadium in Waco. For the first time in school history, TCU will have all its regular-season games on television. Five of those 12 contests will be seen nationally. September 3 is a Sunday. (I guess the NFL season will not have started yet.)

I've always said that Gary Patterson would schedule a game on Sunday morning if it would get TCU on T.V. He's getting closer.

GO FROGS!!!!!!!

Maybe some of that T.V. money will be given to people that have already paid for air travel that departs Waco/DFW on Sunday, and now will be hit with extra charges or unavailable flights. Don't think those people are out there? They are, lots of them. Players' families, parents of freshman in the band who have made plans to come see their son or daughter perform for the first time, etc.
