How was the President to know? Any excuse to bash the guy...y'all make me sick! God forbid the President should have any sense of humor at all...the guy wasn't offended, why should we be?
Just because someone is not within the norm doesnt mean the president has to be rude. He could have chosen to have the reporter contacted after the news conference and asked to comply with a certain dress code if he ever attended again.
I think the president usually does get criticized too much. But his actions were out of line on this one.
