It's 10:48 p.m. and the most interesting political race in Wise County is between two very good guys for County Judge.
The count at this moment:
Dick Chase: 846
Bill McElhaney: 901
Of course, the big question is: Are these the final results? If not, how many precincts are we waiting on? The answer: Who in the hell knows.
The
Messenger's web site amazingly fails to tell us this information. Channel 5, about 30 minutes ago, reported these results and said 95% of the precincts were in. Sadly, I'm relying on the metroplex to give me information that is within 100 yards of the
Messenger's offices.

Silly boy! You have lived in Wise County long enough to know better than to ever depend on the Messenger to provide relevant and/or accurate news.
I just got home from working the Election @ its 2:00 am ...
You can blame it on the Electronic Counting machine reading the paper ballots ....
Skip cant report ... what Skip doesnt know :)
Midgets are funny because they're different....
Skip COULD know whether or not all precincts were in at the time--which is what Barry was wondering about.
Look for "Inside Wise" to come up with some stupid, cowardly (and usually totally inaccurate) statements from those "courthouse watchers" about the local primary election. [Psst--I think I've identified who those "courthouse watchers" are--they're the pigeons!!]
The amazing thing here is Barry referring to 2 Republicians as good men.
Well .... one of the good guys is his uncle....he has to be nice to family.
how can skip report it if he is at the courthose waiting for those results? barry is just too lazy and wants to pubically critisize those who were out working the election until 1 in the morning while he was at home on his little computer. lazy!
if you want all the election results, get your bridgeport index today. oh wait ....
Who cares?
