Here's a list of all "final statements" of those executed in Huntsville.
Samples:
"All right, Warden, let's do it."
"I've got one thing to say, get your Warden off this gurney and shut up. I am from the island of Barbados. I am the Warden of this unit."

Oh thats right, no one will ever know what the innocent folks had to say.
Chilling. Lets just be glad they are not still out there to kill the rest of us.

What haunts me is those that still proclaim their innocence in their final statements (about 5 in the 50 I read). If they are innocent then how is justice served? Who should we execute for their death? If one innocent person is executed how can we justify our actions. At that point we become the murder.
Give them life without parole not death.....
It looks like the system is working well. Next.....
oh, you bleeding heart liberals make me sick....they kill, they get killed....it's the right thing to do...there are more pressing things to lose sleep over!
Have you ever heard of Kenneth Allen Macduff who killed people,was put on death row, Supreme Ct did away with death penalty, Texas Parole Board made a "mistake" and turned him loose to kill more, nine that we know of.
