Not Sure

The lady in the pic below comes from this series of book-in photos that prosecutors swear are authentic. I've yet to verify who the lady is or if the photos are legitmate.

I continue to be amazed at the lack of compassion expressed in some of these posts such as atvtrirdr. Wow. What judgmental, narrow minded, mean spirited folks.

Using drugs in a personal choice. It's not forced on you and there is help available. I have no compassion. It is sad, yes, but it is completely preventable.

Like I said, I'm amazed at the lack of compassion. Yeah, drug addiction, alcohol addiction, any addiction is a "personal" choice. Right! What an unenlightened stupid statement. All addicts awakened one morning and thought, "Hey, I think I'll become a drug addict today." Come on.

Addiction may not be a personal choice, but the first time you do it you are not addicted, and that most certainly is a personal choice.

I have compassion for them but not much patience. They made a decision. They make the decision every time they do it. Is it hard to stop yes. Is it impossible no.

The problem with certain drugs(mostly heorin and methamphetamines)is that usually a person is addicted to the drug after the first few uses, if not the first time.

See, heorin, and meth are chemically composed to permeate through the blood brain barrier(unlike other drugs such as marijuana), and they basically tell your brain that you have to have the drug in order to survive.

So most users are addicted subconsciously after the first few uses. Once you are addicted, if you stop using you fell like you're dying. You have seizures, abdomenial cramps, anxiety attacks, no energy, nuasea, vomitting, lack of memory, and so-on.

Addicts don't want to be addicted, they don't to do drugs, but they're tricked by their brains into believing that they have to use these drugs or they'll die. Drug addicts will choose drugs over everything else in their life untill they have nothing else.

I truly believe that these people need our help, and compassion, but the best way to stop addiction is to prevent it.

Again I have compassion but not much patience. It isn't like they don't know drugs will destroy their lives when they try them. They know what they are doing when they try it. You play with fire you get burned.
